From Expertise to Impact

Presentation Training Specifically Designed for Lawyers

Why It Matters

You have been there before: the typical lawyer's presentation. Forty slides, each one packed with text, detailed explanations of legal intricacies, delivered in a monotonous voice. In the room, people quietly check their phones and answer their emails.

Why does this story repeat itself? As a lawyer, you have been trained to demonstrate expertise. But your audience isn't questioning any of it: they assume you are an expert. What they are looking for is not proof of your expertise, but relevance: content that matters to them, delivered in a way they find inspiring and enjoyable.

The training helps you achieve exactly that. You'll learn to focus on what matters most to your audience and deliver it in a way that will make it memorable. Your presentations will become radically more impactful. You'll gain credibility with your audience by delivering superior value through your speech and slides. Even more importantly, once you stop hiding behind the generic "expert" posture, what comes through is you: your voice, your ideas, and your energy.

Presenting will no longer be the dreaded exercise it can feel like today; it will become a pleasure for you and your audience.

Content

Built around Antoine's book 6 Steps to Outstanding Presentations, the training guides the participants through a six-step journey:

  1. Goal & Main Idea. Instead of rushing to produce a slide deck, first clarify your key message and what your audience should walk away with.

  2. Content. Every powerful presentation rests on four building blocks, combined in the right proportion. You'll learn what they are and how to balance them.

  3. Structure. You already know that a presentation needs a plan. What you'll work on is making it stimulating and compelling, not just logical.

  4. Visual Support. Slides are supposed to help. Too often, they do the exact opposite. They are a main reason people get confused and give up listening. You'll learn to design slides that strengthen your speech, and when the most powerful slide is no slide at all.

  5. Timing. An audience forgives almost anything except running over time. You will practice pacing a presentation that finishes on time.

  6. Delivery. Eventually, it's you, talking to people, in the room or on a screen. From body language to voice and intonation, you'll work on what turns a competent delivery into one that's genuinely engaging.
